SMTBC  Strava Cup Summer Series 2024/25

The Southland Mountainbike club is running another Strava cup series over the Summer. Similar to the last one. Each segment will be for a month.

Rounds will start at Sandy Point, then Bluff when the trails open in December & another in Gore in the new year. There will be a mixture of xc, climbing and enduro combinations. There is an E-Bike segment too just remember to save ride as E-Bike ride. Your best 5 of the 6 rounds go toward final points.

Januarys Segment.

Start at the Kotare - Weezer Junction above the ponds, head up Weezer then left at junction & down The Fix, across the Kotare access Rd (watch for traffic)  turn sharp Right at Tuatara access rd. Travel up the access road. Turn left into B-Line. Follow B-Line down to the Hub then take Lower Fix (2nd from the left trail) to the bottom.

The trails are open to everyone so be courteous to other users.

If you like what we are doing with the Stava Cup and other tracks please join us for  the next working bee, we have a heap of new trails planned in the recently logged area to replace Svend and Lindsay and there is always some piece of track that needs some work. Enjoy!
