Sheetmetal Craft Winter Series 2024

This great series is on again this year with new Sponsors.

  • Categories: Recreational, Sport, Expert, and E-Bike, with multiple age groups.
  • Registration: On the day from 9:00am.
  • Race Briefing: 10:25am.
  • Race Start: 10:30am sharp!
  • Entry Fees:
    • On-the-day entries: $5 for Southland MTB Club members, $10 for non-members (you can join for $20).
    • Children under 12 enter for free.
  • Online Entries Here: You can enter online for remaining 5 races for $25 (members) or $50 (non-members). Use your membership number as a discount code.
  • Event Location: Sandy Point Mountain Bike Track, Sandy Point Road, Invercargill.
  • Race Schedule:
    • Round 1: Sunday, May 12th
    • Round 2: Sunday, June 9th
    • Round 3: Sunday, July 7th
    • Round 4: Sunday, August 4th
    • Round 5: Sunday, September 1st
    • Round 6 (Final): Sunday, October 6th
  • Start Time: Registration on the day starts at 9:30am, followed by the race briefing at 10:25am.

    • Expert (3 laps)
    • E-Bike
  • Age Groups: Under 12, 15, 19, Open, Vet, and Masters (age is taken as of October 2nd).

Remember, to be eligible for overall series points, participate in at least three races. Points are calculated from your best four results, with the final race worth double points. Spot prizes are also up for grabs at each event! 🚴‍♂️🏁
